Last year, we thought we
had found the best golf course in mainland China when we played Golden
Pebble Beach in Dalian. We were wrong. This Chinese New Year, four
more intrepid Shanghai expats ventured to Kunming in Southwest China. There we found
Spring City Golf and Lake Resort. It's a great Jack Nicklaus layout in a beautiful
setting overlooking a major lake. We also got to play half of their
second course, a tough Robert Trent Jones design which was under construction.
World class all the way.....
